Oh so many times it seems as though people like to spring kinks or fetishes at the last minute, as though they’re going to catch you off-guard in order to avoid some level of embarrassment. “Oh, you didn’t dress like a Mexican Wrestler, too? I thought we’d discussed this.” But the fact of the matter is, a little roleplay never hurt anyone…
Except those people that roleplaying a dangerous scenario in some way… you know… hurt. Like I remember a story about a guy who was tied up in a closet and managed to choke on his gag – which is definitely an exception to the rule. Though I guess I could still say that MOST roleplay never hurt anyone.
And that’s the thing of it – costumes are what they are. I love dudes in jockstraps, but are the guys who I like to see wearing jocks “Jocks” themselves? I say nay. So it’s really more about that visual and tactile side of things… which is probably the same for guys into leather, rubber, baseball uniforms, or whatnot.
I think where I PERSONALLY draw the line is with mask fetishists who refuse to ever actually show their face. Sure, there is something sexy about not knowing what’s under the mask (on some level) but on the other end of things: you don’t know WHO or WHAT is under the mask. There is an important part of building trust with me that requires that I can at least know who you are. If after that point, you get your jollies by throwing on a gimp mask – all the power to ya!
But maybe I’m just a prude.
In other news – the NSFW comics tourney (Round 1) is coming to a close tonight as I write this, and I think it’s going to go without saying that I’m getting my bum kicked by Toonhole. It’s cool, though – because I respect the work that the guys over there are doing. I think that at least I had a better go at things than the comics that were up against Oglaf, Go Get a Roomie, or Menage a 3.
Realistically, though – the contest was kinda awkwardly set up. They had the initial voting for the top 32 comics. Then they put #1 vs #32, #2 vs #31, and so on… Realistically – I was #22, going up against #10. Knowing that? I’m proud to have done as well as I did!

Updated: So… wow… It turns out that I was wrong there. Given the post accepting my loss, I guess you can tell that I’m honestly surprised to be moving forward – but hey – let’s see how far we can take this thing, eh? Feel free to throw me another vote if you can, because right now – I’m already feeling like I’m coming out ahead!
That is like people who put NO pics or FACELESS pics in their post/profile/ad whatever.
All too many times I find these guys demand to know all about you, probably because the just looked at all the pics in my post, but didn’t bother to read it. So then you swap emails and send more pics, only to have them NEVER send you a face pic. They whine and complain all about how they have to be so careful (i.e. closeted). But expect you to give out all the details of yourself.
Well all those assholes can just go leap off a cliff and quit wasting the time of more honest people looking for something more tangible.
