So, the Friday of PAX is over, and I write this blog from a hotel room overlooking Boston at night. So far, it’s been a good time, which the exception of long walks and long lines. We couldn’t get into any of the panels thus far that we originally wanted to, but damn if there wasn’t some wall-to-wall hottie action for my own viewing pleasure. Even in the lobby of the hotel we checked into, I could tell this was going to be a solid trip. Then you get to the convention (and more importantly the D&D rooms) and it really seemed like the eye-candy level spiked up quickly. I’ll fully admit to anyone who asks: I am a complete and utter geek. I love D&D and have had a great time thus far rolling dice and making innuendos at the little, round goateed faces that surround the table.
Note: If anyone else is actually at the convention, I’ll likely be in the D&D area most of the afternoon/evening… Dark Sun and DM Challenge tomorrow.
Otherwise, this comic is something of a nod to the guys who are putting on PAX – Penny-Arcade. As one of the biggest web-comics out there these days, PA definitely puts itself out there for a little good natured nudge to the ribs – even though I’m sure the guys who put it together wouldn’t give me the time of day. I’m not bitter, though (I’m sure it’s because I’m gay). But really, though – I almost wanted to put a suggestion out there that everyone who considers themselves a fan of my stuff that they need to go over to the Penny-Arcade site and shoot a link for today’s strip at the folks over there in order to bombard them with gay bears. But I am far too good a person to do that.
Remember: I AM a good person.
PS: Pictures to be uploaded at a later time!
